4Shared online storage
4shared is a large storage facility where interest users can store their audio, video , photos , text and other files and share them if the want with friends and co-workers . From 4shared you can also download files shared by other users without been a registered member . You can store or upload your videos ,photos ,audio etc on their high speed servers when you become a registered member . Once a registered member your virtual drive will be set up allowing you access to your files from any PC connected to the internet .
Free Membership
You can become a registered member with 4shared for free by creating a free account . To create a free account just click on the sign up button and fill in the registration form . You will need to provide just an email address and a password and finally click submit . Once you click submit your account shall be created and you shall be taken to the page below .
Once your account is created 10GB of the virtual space will be available to you for free where you can store or upload all your files . As a registered 4shared user you will gain access to your vitual drive where you are able to create an unlimited number of folders to upload files for storing and sharing . For your free plan you have a space limit of 10GB and every file you upload cannot be 200MB in file size . To upload any file just click the browse button on the left to locate the file from your PC then click the upload button to upload the file .
File sharing
The files you have uploaded in your virtual drive or storage space with 4shared can be shared with other people including non registered members. You will be able to share them using an access link . To get an access link click on the file name and copy the sharing link from the "download link" field on the file properties page .You can email the sharing link , place it on your web page or publish it where ever you want in the internet .
Download files
Both registered and non registered members can download files from 4shared . To download any file it is recommended that you use the 4shared search engine to first find the file .
Streaming media files
4shared offers you a much easier way to enjoy media files (audio/video) by streaming them online . No need to download them to your PC . To play any media file you should click on the "stream media file" icon next to the name of the file .
Joining the 4shared Forum
4shared has a forum that you can join to share your thoughts , points of view and problems with others . You can talk about Music , Games , Movies etc and can ask for advice if you have problem with sharing your files etc.

When you upgrade to a 4shared premium member , you will enjoy all the features available to free members plus you will have access to some additional features . As a premium member you will have access to 100GB of storage space and the maximum file size you can upload to your virtual drive or storage space is 5GB .
